This exhibition serves as a premier platform for showcasing a diverse range of cosmetics-related materials, technologies, and services, alongside technical presentations, while fostering connections between exhibitors—primarily suppliers—and user companies such as cosmetics manufacturers. Attendance has grown steadily with each edition, and the number of overseas exhibitors and visitors has seen consistent growth in recent years. We remain committed to further promoting international participation in response to the evolving demands of a globalizing industry.

I am confident that this event — where connections are forged and new ideas take shape — will serve as a driving force in shaping the future of the Japanese cosmetics industry.

For CITE JAPAN 2027, we have adopted the key visual concept of "Science Takes on Any Color." The transformation of monochrome raw materials into vibrant cosmetics embodies the technological excellence and boundless potential of the Japanese cosmetics industry.

Together, through learning and collaboration, we aspire to share the excellence of Japanese cosmetic ingredients with the world.

CITE JAPAN has evolved as a unique exhibition planned and administered together by the exhibitors who are suppliers and the cosmetics manufacturers who are users. As a result, CITE JAPAN has steadily developed to become a venue where the ingredients, technologies, and services valuable for cosmetics development assemble in one place. Although the cosmetics industry is constantly facing new waves of change, such as sustainability, the COVID-19 pandemic, and globalization, I am sure that both exhibitors and visitors to CITE JAPAN participate with a broad perspective and make wide use of this opportunity as a valuable platform for gathering important information.

We firmly believe that J-Beauty, including cosmetics, represents a globally competitive industry sector built upon the value derived from the fusion of Japanese technology and culture. I expect that CITE JAPAN 2027 will continue to prove useful in everyday work as a point of deeper and broader contact between suppliers and users.

As the co-organizer of this exhibition, the Society of Cosmetic Chemists of Japan (SCCJ) is also actively working for the further development of the Japanese cosmetics industry through CITE JAPAN 2027. We hope that large numbers of companies and people will exhibit and participate in CITE JAPAN to pioneer the future of the cosmetics industry and lead to its further development.
