Application Period and How to Apply

CITE JAPAN 2027 will be held at two venues: the Exhibition Hall and the North Venue. However, since the number of booth applications for the Exhibition Hallhas reached the planned capacity, all subsequent applications will be assigned to the North Venue.

2 Application Deadline

Please note that if the number of applications should reach the planned number, no further applications will be accepted, even if it is received before the deadline.

3 Reduction in space / Cancellation

In principle, applications cannot be cancelled after the Application Form is submitted. Only when the Organizer deems it unavoidable will cancellations or reduction be accepted.

  • * All cancellations of participation or any reduction in booth space should be made to the organizer in writing, specifying the reason.
In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fee will be incurred based on the date written notice is received:

• Cancellation, Suspension or Changes to the Exhibition
  • (1) The organizer may cancel, suspend, shorten the period of, or change the schedule or venue of the exhibition if the organizer deems it impossible or difcult to hold and continue the exhibition in the event that:
    • (a) the land or building used for the venue becomes unavailable, and theorganizer deems the land or building inappropriate for use;
    • (b) the organizer deems it not appropriate to hold the exhibition following a request or order for, or a request for consideration of, self-restraint or cancellation of events by the government, administration or any public
      agency; or
    • (c) it becomes impossible to hold the exhibition on the occurrence of any event of force majeure, or the organizer deems it not appropriate to hold the exhibition.
  • (2) The force majeure events described in the preceding paragraph shall mean acts of God, including typhoons, heavy rain, tempests, oods and earthquakes, epidemics, public health risk, delay or suspension of service of public transportation systems, war, civil war, terrorist attacks, strikes and other causes not attributable to the organizer.
  • (3) In no event shall the applicant claim compensation against the organizer for any damages caused to the exhibitor resulting from any decision made by the organizer, nor shall the organizer be liable for any damages, increased expenses or other unfavorable circumstances caused to the exhibitor as a result of any such decision. However, if the organizer decides to cancel or suspend the exhibition prior to or after the start of the exhibition period, the organizer shall inform exhibitors about refunds after considering the overall situation.

  • Only the booth types shown above are available.
  • In case of more than 6 booths, single row booths will NOT be accepted.
  • Island booths will be provided for 8 booths or more (planned).
  • In principle, no changes in booth types will be allowed.

Booth allocation

Booth assignments will be determined by a lottery to be held at the exhibitor briefing scheduled for late January 2026. The floor plan will not be available to any exhibitors before the Exhibitor Meeting.
Please note that there is no guarantee that island booths will be provided regardless of the number of booths.

  • *Venue features and set-up conditions may differ depending on booth location.
  • *The organizer reserves the right to alter floor plan or booth location even after the announcement of floor plan.

Usage of Plumbing / Air Supply

If you wish to use the water supply and drainage facilities or the ventilation system, please indicate this on the application form.
If you do not indicate this on the application form, you may not be able to request use of the water supply and drainage facilities or the ventilation system.

If you require air supply, please make sure that you secure the necessary space in your booth for the air compressor, etc.

Presenting / Exhibiting Data Obtained by Animal Experiments

The presentation of any information obtained by animal experiments is strictly prohibited in the Exhibitor Technology Forums and in the exhibit area. If a violation of this is found, exhibitors may be asked to withdraw the stated exhibition item or discontinue the presentation.

Visitors Information Brochure

Information brochures, that includes the list of exhibitors, will be provided to all exhibitors for distribution (free of charge, scheduled to be distributed in early April). Please state the number of copies you would like to receive on the application form. You may change the number of copies at a later date, but if you request a large increase, we may to be able to meet your request.

Other Details

  • Detailed information for exhibiting, such as the schedule of construction, exhibition rulesand the rental furniture will be notified in the “Exhibitor’s Manual” to be available after the Exhibitor Meeting in January, 2027.
  • Overseas exhibitors who require a VISA must make arrangements on their own for obtaining the VISA by preparing the required documents, including an invitation letter and a letter of guarantee. Please note that the organizer will NOT issue such documents for any reason.
  • If you have an agent/representative in Japan, please let us know when you apply.
